Getting ready to hit the road for Turkey

In exactly one week we’ll be in Istanbul settling in, finding our way around, looking for some chai, recommendations on a Turkish bath that isn’t too expensive, how to find the spice bizarre, and of course where to eat dinner.  A foodie adventure awaits. I’m looking forward to walking the streets and just taking in this beautiful city while celebrating my 45th birthday.  Just wish Tel could be there with us.  I even got new Tevas so I’m all set to walk everywhere. Let’s hope my legs last as long as my Tevas.

Since this is my first time creating a travel blog, let’s hope I can find wifi.  I’m looking forward to sharing our adventures with everyone. Now cross your fingers that Luftanza doesn’t have any more strikes.
