Today was a much needed slow chill day. Originally we were planning on going to Sapphire Beach, but instead we hung around the hotel. We did go out early to do some food shopping. We found Bad Ass Coffee, went to the Pueblo for snacks, water, cheap alcohol and juice.
When we got back to the room, Sue and T went into Charlotte Amalie to do shopping. Joanne took,a serious and much needed nap. She’s not feeling well, and just crashed today. I went to the pool, Carolyn did laundry.
Joanne and I hosted a happy hour in our room with fruity rum cocktails, cheese and crackers (with and without gluten). We played a game called ‘What’s yours like’ which was lot of fun. Then we went to dinner at A Room with a View, a restaurant at Bluebeards. It’s hard to describe this experience, but let’s just say it felt like our waiter was on crack, David Lynch movie. With people behind us saying SNOW, instead of cheese, while our waiter explained how he was from a place, that he could remember the name of, called Raleigh, North Carolina, where the law, was after him so he moved to St Thomas. But now everything is cleared up so he could go back, but he likes it here. It was surreal.
After dinner we we got back yo the room around 10:30, and recorded our song of the day, ‘Rum in the Room. Tomorrow were shooting to be out the door by 9:30 to Sapphire Beach.
