October was a crazy month filled with too much travel for me and shingles for Carol. So we’re all ready for vacation in Hawaii. It’s my first trip to these beautiful islands, but everyone else has been here before. There are 6 of us – Mom, me, George, Carol, Pat and Vic. Mom and I arrive first on Thursday evening, after a long plane ride.

Our plans for the week include a sunset cruise around Kauai, floating down sugar cane canals, kayaking, snorkeling and soaking in the sun and trips to enjoy the beauty of the islands. We stay in Kauai for a week and then mom and I separate from the group and head to Maui for a few days before heading home.
